How it works
The company's public page
Public page on the company profile switches on a page anyone with the link can open, so investors who haven't met the company yet can read about it. It shows the profile without anything marked Requires NDA, without hidden team members, and without any raise: no terms, and no sign the company is raising. It is off until the company turns it on, the team can preview it either way, and search engines don't list it. A visitor follows the company with a Struck account, signing up first if they need one, and following shares their name and email with the company, which lists them under Followers on the profile. Followers get the company's announcements by email, and one email when a raise first opens its dataroom. From the public page a follower can then ask for access: the request joins the raise's access requests, the team decides who joins and the follower is emailed when they're let in, and the NDA still comes before anything inside. Every email has an Unfollow link. Turning the page off takes it down and stops the emails; followers stay on the list.
