How it works
Amendments
The minimum and the target are terms of the offer an investor signed. If either changes in Raise settings after anyone has signed, Struck records an amendment and asks each signed investor to accept or decline the new figures from their Amendments page. Their amount and shares stay the same; what moves is their share of what this round issues, and the page shows them that before and after. Declining records disagreement for the company to act on; it does not unwind the commitment. The company and its advisors see every amendment with each investor's answer. An investor counts as asked only once their email has actually gone: if any did not, usually because there is no email address on record, a band on the amendment says how many, the reason shows under each name, and Send again emails everyone still to answer who has not had it.
