How it works

Allocations and scale-back

An investor first indicates an amount, which is interest, not a commitment; the team then allocates what each investor actually gets, and allocations price the round and generate the packs. Once a pack is sent for signature its amount is locked. If the round is oversubscribed, scale-back trims every unsent allocation proportionally so the total lands on the target; packs already sent are never rewritten, so the screen tells you which investors a scale-back would touch before you press it.
