How it works

Funds on Struck

A wholesale unit trust can take applications on Struck the way a company runs a raise. It is set up with Add a fund, naming the fund, its trustee company and its fund administrator, and it has one standing offer, set up from Offers with Set up the offer, that stays open for as long as the fund takes money. The offer is always to wholesale investors only. The fund's sidebar has no Register or Compliance: the fund administrator keeps the unit register and works out the unit price, and Struck never issues units. Struck runs the part before that: inviting investors into the room, the NDA, their wholesale evidence, the application form and its signing, the fund's acceptance, the payment, and the hand-off to the administrator on each dealing date.
