How it works

Q&A and fair disclosure

Investor questions route privately to the deal team; nothing an investor asks is visible to other investors until the company publishes an answer, and published answers never name who asked. Publishing to everyone is how the room stays fair: every investor reads the same answers. The team can also write FAQ entries before anyone asks, and drafts written by an advisor go to the company for review before anything is released. Under each question, Team discussion is where the company and its advisors talk it through: type @ to bring a colleague in, and they get a notification in the bell and a short email linking back. Investors never see a team discussion, and Mark resolved closes one once it is settled. To reply to the investor, press Answer the investor instead: the answer box names who will read it, while the team discussion is marked Team only and shaded amber, and a note posted there on a question nobody has answered yet says so, with Answer now to write the answer. Below the investor questions, What investors are asking the AI lists every question investors have typed into Ask this room. Open one to read the answer the AI gave them, and press Correct the record to answer in the company's own words: Only that investor sends it as a private reply in their Q&A, under the question they asked; Every investor, as an FAQ publishes it to the whole raise without naming them. Export CSV, beside Import questions, downloads every Q&A question and answer; the one on the AI list downloads each AI question with the answer it gave and its sources.
