How it works
Who sees what
Three seats meet on a raise. The advisor firm runs it, the company owns it, and both act as the deal team; a lead advisor can be granted extra authority such as publishing Q&A answers. A contributing advisor works alongside them with a narrower view: the dataroom, the terms, the team discussion and the audit trail, without Raise settings, Investors, Broadcasts or Completion. Investors see the outward surfaces: the company page, the dataroom they were granted, their own questions and published answers, and their own packs and payments. An investing company, trust or fund can have a team: the people who sign for it, and colleagues it adds from its profile who can view what it sees but never sign, accept the NDA or commit for it. The deal team sees that team, marked Signs or View only, under the investor on the dataroom's Access tab, and can remove anyone from it. Every screen reads through the viewer's own permissions, so two people on the same page can see different rows.
