How it works
Completion: issue, register and ASIC
Completion is where the raise legally happens: pass the board resolution to issue, update the register of members, issue share certificates, and lodge ASIC Form 484 within 28 days of issue. The Completion screen holds that checklist with its statutory clocks, and nothing is written to the register until the close pack is generated. The close pack issues shares only to investors whose payment is settled; it can be run again as more payments settle, and adds only the new holders. Starting the close sets the issue price from the raise's terms. A company registered outside Australia has no close pack: its company secretary records the new shares with the registrar, and Close the raise on the Completion screen marks the raise closed for the team and investors once it has been opened to investors.
