How it works

Signing packs and countersigning

Each allocated investor gets a subscription pack pre-filled from their allocation, signed electronically. The lead signs first from the generated pack, then everyone else. A pack for a trust or company can carry several signers, and it stays open until the last one has signed. After the investor signs, the company countersigns, and only countersigned investors move on to payment. Reminders can be sent from the Signing screen to anyone sitting on an unsigned pack. Under Your own agreements the company can bring its own documents instead. Upload prepared agreements takes one filled-in agreement per investor, written by the company or its lawyer: the signature boxes are placed once on the first, and every investor's agreement is sent with them in the same spots, the investor side first and then the company's signatories inside the document. Record signed agreements is for agreements already signed another way, through DocuSign, a lawyer or on paper: the executed PDFs are matched to their investors, and each pack becomes binding with the file as its executed copy.
