How it works

Your investor profile

Before committing to a raise an investor completes their profile: how they will hold (personally, through a company, or a trust), the legal name that goes on the subscription agreement and the register, and their s708 certification. A company, or a trust with a corporate trustee, can be found on the Australian Business Register so its name and ACN go in exactly as registered. Holding personally is separate from acting for an entity, so it gets its own profile, its own certification and its own holdings. When an advisory firm has asked for their certificate, Certificate requests at the top lists the firm with a Share button: the firm sees the certificate only once they press it, and Stop sharing takes it back.
